Trans Week of Visibility Children’s Reading Hour

Meet us at Books & Mortar for our annual Trans Week of Visibility Children’s Reading Hour w/ bookmark making! We will be reading kids books that explore gender-expansiveness and acceptance. Family-friendly event; kids of all ages welcome! 12:30-1:30 pm: Children’s Reading Hour 1:30-2:30 pm: Children’s Bookmark-Making Station Free, All Ages. This Trans Week of Visibility event is a collaborative effort between Grand Rapids Trans Foundation, Grand Rapids Pride Center, and the GVSU Milt Ford Legacy Collective: Rainbow Resource Center. ACCESSIBILITY FOR BOOKS & MORTAR: -Curb cuts and a ramped incline (no steps) are available to access the venue’s front door. -Venue is accessible via the Lake/Diamond bus stop on Route 6. -Want to carpool?
